[Discord] <Werner> Just a guess but have you tried to write to /sys while being actual root instead of sudo?
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <superkali> Have you tried to use kernel 6.9?
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <superkali> On framework i see that patch for 6.6 is disabled

[Discord] <superkali> You can try to compile edge kernel, idk why patch are disabled on kernel 6.6, i don't handle this board, I think somebody will answer you better on that
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <.thenakedtruth> Who do I need to convinced to get `netkit` enabled in the Armbian kernel(s)?
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <.thenakedtruth> # CONFIG_NETKIT is not set
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <.thenakedtruth> ```

[Discord] <igorpec> Open PR with changes to build framework. Then its decided.
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <.thenakedtruth> Alright.
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <lanefu> Had to look up what it was, but yeah cilium users will be happy about it
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <lanefu> Looks like kernel 6.7 and newer
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <phlak> Yes, this doesn't work either.
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <phlak> I can try a different kernel. Where do you see this patch applied/not applied?
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <.thenakedtruth> Sorry, that I did not put more context in the first message. And yes, exactly Cilium and modern networking for containers. Don't know how the various kernel configs are maintained. But if only the files `config/kernel/linux-rockchip-rk3588-6.11.config` or `config/kernel/linux-rockchip-rk3588-6.10.config` are changed. Would that be an theoretical option?

[Discord] <phlak> Updating to the 6.7 kernel via `armbian-config` fix the gpio/audio issue. Thanks for your help @superkali!
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <lanefu> Shoukd enable it for most other edge kernels that are new enough to support. Aka rockchip64 meson64 etc
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <superkali> You’re welcome 😊
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <superkali> It was on the build framework idk why is disabled some patch about kernel 6.6 for this board
