[Discord] <beohoff3174> It's probably easier to patch things then to build from scratch.
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <beohoff3174> I've had some luck basically hacking in print statement equivalents into some driver code. Since most of the drivers can be loaded dynamically you can unload the existing, compile your custom, run it, monitor the log file, profit
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <beohoff3174> Chatgpt is pretty weak at driver code, but it's good to help expand some gaps around what you don't know
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <beohoff3174> @zeeto9 , did you end up testing the speech2text code at all?
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <beohoff3174> What is the patch for this? I was having the same issues with RK3588 and just gave up and am using an SD card for now
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <zeeto9> I did try testing it. Recorded some mono audio at 16khz and passed into wav2vec2 and ran into npu_core_mask symbol undefined. Which if I remember I ran into in the past, I think I need to step into rknn npu python code and find and comment out the issue. It’s been months since the last time I was interacting directly with rknn. I’m going to look into it more this weekend, sin <clipped message>
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <zeeto9> ce it’s all ready besides the undefined symbol.
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <zeeto9> Wav2vec2 was converted as fp16 instead of int8 (based on recommendation for model)
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <fridtjof> Has anyone gotten rkdeveloptool or similar to work on the 5b+ yet?
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <fridtjof> I found it enumerates as a device on the dedicated OTG type-c port when I boot it in maskrom mode, but communication seems to fail somewhere at the USB level
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <zeeto9> Yea, I’m going to reflash my device tomorrow. I realized the opi5+ I’m using for this has stuff on it from….i don’t even remember when… 🤷♂️ I guess this happens when I have too many boards running. 😉😂
