[Discord] <alexl83> HI Everyone! I lost a bit track of things in rockchip world - can anyone point me to the right direction about 6.1-vendor kernel and orangepi5-plus please? It seems to be broken, not working correctly - It does boot but 60% of HW is unusable/not recognized - I am definitely missing something here
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <narga_64> Maybe it's just stuff missing in the device tree for Opi5 on 6.1.
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <narga_64> You could check it, maybe it's in the "dt" kernel patch folder.

[Discord] <alexl83> Thanks, will try with fresh build today

[Discord] <efectn> Are you using opi5 image for opi5 plus?
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <alexl83> Yep, building myself - interesting in cmdline only - no desktop
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <alexl83> I'm integrating my kali extension for some transformations
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <efectn> You need to use opi5plus image
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <alexl83> is it correct if I build with BOARD=orangepi5-plus parameter or should I just stick to the CI edition on website?
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <raspberrygb> Anyone know of the best place to check on development of opengl 3.3 for rk3588s ?

[Discord] <amazingfate> Upstream mesa.

[Discord] <aprodigy> quick and speedy newb question... is hdmi audio out not a thing or am i missing something. using the latest "noble + trunk..." according to ``aplay -l`` there's only the jack connection around which indeed does audio out all fine but via hdmi it won't. switching from bitstream to pcm on my tv didn't do anything else either and working with different hdmi cables didn't solve that issue either.

[Discord] <amazingfate> I'm using vendor 6.1 kernel and hdmi audio works. Mainline edge kernel doesn't have hdmi audio support.

[Discord] <alexl83> UPD: my fault, no rtw89 support in vendor for 8852be
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <alexl83> Hi @efectn I assembled a rk35xx-6.1-vendor patch to add rtw89 8852be/ce wifi support, it works well but I cannot make pcie-based usb module work (it's included in rtl_btusb by default), on vendor kernel lsusb lists nothing: would it still be worth a PR in your opinion?
