<Armbian-Discord> <dsx724> The SoC doesn't support a MicroSD card slot....
<Armbian-Discord> <dsx724> Assumptions make...
<Armbian-Discord> <dsx724> Igor I feel for you.
<Armbian-Discord> <srepac> ok.. again cheaping out to save a few bucks
<Armbian-Discord> <c0rnelius> The clown wheel chair, it gets the squeaky wheel.
<Armbian-Discord> <c0rnelius> @dsx724 how do you handle overlays using uefi?
<Armbian-Discord> <ManoftheSea> You put the dtbo in the loader file, don't you?
<Armbian-Discord> <Mz3D> Hi, can I read somewhere the changelog/commits of the latest armbian-firmware-full package?
<Armbian-Discord> <TheBug> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hc3fdjwfi4M
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> Le sigh on Pi form factor. I'm over it. 😋
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> I think the power dissipation on these is actually ok for the credit card
<Armbian-Discord> <c0rnelius> the M2 Pro is the same thing with diff form factor
<Armbian-Discord> <c0rnelius> also has onboard wifi/bt
<Armbian-Discord> <IgorPec> m2 pro can sit on top of m2+
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> I have never had a BPi product
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> So that means nothing to me 😆
<Armbian-Discord> <IgorPec> now is your chance!!! 🙂
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> I'll look it up
<Armbian-Discord> <c0rnelius> either have I, but I am interested in these two boards.
<Armbian-Discord> <c0rnelius> if you like the Odroid C4, you would like these. Basically the same thing.
<Armbian-Discord> <c0rnelius> from what I can tell, anyway.
<Armbian-Discord> <IgorPec> here you have build-in emmc, there you need to use theirs
<Armbian-Discord> <c0rnelius> very true
<Armbian-Discord> <IgorPec> usb-c power here, 12v there
<Armbian-Discord> <IgorPec> but its not PD, so ...
<Armbian-Discord> <narmstrong> The m5 is ok, quality is not as good as the C4
<Armbian-Discord> <narmstrong> I’ve been asking for a M2 Pro without success so far…
<Armbian-Discord> <IgorPec> you might have luck in our contest 🙂
<Armbian-Discord> <narmstrong> Lol I wrote the DT and most of the kernel and u-boot code running on it
<Armbian-Discord> <c0rnelius> sounds like they should just send you one 🙂
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> I would agree
<Armbian-Discord> <Tonymac32> Kernel maintainers get first dibs
<Armbian-Discord> <dsx724> @c0rnelius just apply the overlay and save to the fdtfile
<Armbian-Discord> <c0rnelius> @dsx724 Thanx, but I don't get what ur saying. 🙂 When using extlinux "for example", one can use: fdtoverlays ../path/to/overlay-file.dtbo, but when using grub there is no way to pass an overlay. At least I haven't seen any command to do so in the man pages.
<Armbian-Discord> <dsx724> i apply it in userspace and save it
<Armbian-Discord> <c0rnelius> ah alright. that makes more sense. thanx.
<Armbian-Discord> <dsx724> yeah I try not to make it complicated
<Armbian-Discord> <dsx724> but it comes with its own pitfalls
<Armbian-Discord> <c0rnelius> i read about it. never really tried it.
<Armbian-Discord> <c0rnelius> systemd-boot seems to have the option to pass overlays, but doesn't seem usable if not using GPT.

<Armbian-Discord> <ManoftheSea> I thought you could label a partition 0xEA under MBR for systemd-boot
<Armbian-Discord> <c0rnelius> @ManoftheSea have you tried this?
<Armbian-Discord> <ManoftheSea> No
<Armbian-Discord> <ManoftheSea> Not with MBR. I've been using sd-b on UEFI on x64 for months
<Armbian-Discord> <ManoftheSea> Whole months
