<somlo> what's the new canonical way to build documentation as of version 0.40? Right now, if I run `make latexpdf` under the `docs` directory, things fail with
<somlo> LaTeX Warning: File `{_images/primer/levels_of_abstraction}.*' not found on input line 310.
<somlo> ! LaTeX Error: Unknown graphics extension: .*.
<somlo> Is there a preferred documentation format other than pdf, or some intermediate step to build the images from .tex to something more useful?

<philtor> Are there any new/er families of FPGAs out (or coming out) which are supported by Yosys? The ICE40s are looking kind of long in the tooth.
<somlo> to answer my own question, `make docs` from the toplevel folder seems like it should be working; I just got thrown off by `docs` not being part of `make all` :)

<lofty> philtor: there's MachXO3 and Nexus support, or the slightly bizarre CologneChip GateMates
<lofty> I think Lattice will have a hell of a time trying to replace the iCE40 because it's an excellent sweet spot in the market
peepsalot has quit [Quit: Connection reset by peep]
<lofty> Objectively it's not necessarily a *good* architecture, but it works out

<philtor> lofty: interesting, what makes the CologneChip GateMate slightly bizarre? Are there any dev boards available?
<philtor> (looks like there is, but not seeing any pricing or availability https://www.colognechip.com/programmable-logic/gatemate-evaluation-board/)
<tpb> Title: GateMate FPGA Evaluation Board – Cologne Chip (at www.colognechip.com)
<lofty> Yeah, the chips are presently "contact us", which is a bit shitty, but I believe they do have plans to open them up
<lofty> And, full disclosure, since I work for YosysHQ, there *is* a planned project between us and colognechip, but I'm entirely happy to bite the hand that feeds
