Saur: now I don't see any SRC_URI checksum at all... sigh

Saur: I think your change has broken scripts/lib/recipetool/create_buildsys_python.py
<Saur_Home32>
That seems odd.
<Saur_Home32>
moto-timo: How can I see what is broken?
<Saur_Home32>
moto-timo: Should there be checksums in that case. Comment in that file "Pypi class will handle S and SRC_URIxxx variables, so remove them", just before it removes all checksums...
<moto-timo>
Saur_Home32: so between your change and the pypi recipetool change we no longer get SRC_URI[sha256sum] for python recipes
<moto-timo>
Saur_Home32: and this all worked on "master" yesterday

<Saur_Home32>
moto-timo: I reverted to before my changes where integrated, and I still do not get any SRC_URI[*sum] variables in the pydantic-core recipe, so I don't think I am to blame...
<moto-timo>
Saur_Home32: you are correct, it’s julien’s change
<Saur_Home32>
Well, since the code in create_buildsys_python.py now explicitly removes the checksums, I do not think they are expected to be there anymore...
<Saur_Home32>
Hmm, I can't see anything in pypi.bbclass about checksums though. So removing them seems incorrect...
<moto-timo>
:q
<moto-timo>
Saur_Home32: exactly. I'll try a quick fix before I say "WEEKEND"
<moto-timo>
Saur_Home32: they still need to be there. otherwise we will have no validity check on the tarball downloads from pypi.org and we will be in a man-in-the-middle vulnerability situation
<Saur_Home32>
moto-timo: Exactly. Removing the five lines that remove the checksums create_buildsys_python.py should bring you back to working.
<moto-timo>
Saur_Home32: bingo.
<moto-timo>
Saur_Home32: of course now it doesn't inherit pypi, but at least it makes some sense
<moto-timo>
nevermind... I guess I'm just DONE

Hi, if I may ask a stupid question: I wanted to test sth. and fetched a separate copy of the poky repo. I just took a look at documentation/brief-yoctoprojectqs/index.rst and meta-poky/conf/templates/default/local.conf.sample and saw that for the step examine Your Local Configuration file, the order from BB_SIGNATURE_HANDLER to SSTATE_MIRRORS
<simone>
does not match the order they are in the default conf. I am somehow always bugged by such, and I guess stuff is easier to find if the orders match. If there is no reason for this order, would a patch to adapt the order in the docs be ok?
