It is an open-source IEEE 802.11 compatible software defined radio for BladeRF2.0
<
tnt>
Nope, don't have a bladerf2.0 :/

tnt, maybe do you have tested openwifi which do the same but support even more stuff and seems really more advanced ?

Very interesting JLCPCB provide 2Layers Rogers PCB & PTFE PCB for High Frequency
<
bvernoux>
PTFE seems the most interesting cheaper and even lower Er
<
bvernoux>
about 50USD for max 10x10cm 2 Layers PCB
<
bvernoux>
for 5 PCB
<
bvernoux>
The lower loss is => PCB Laminates: ZYF255DA(Dk=2.55, Df=0.0018)
<
bvernoux>
The only limit is it is only 2 layers so far
<
bvernoux>
Anyway with such low RF loss (to be confirmed) it could be interesting to experiment with some RF microstrip filters...
<
azonenberg>
bvernoux: i only have one of the older bladerf's
<
bvernoux>
azonenberg, OpenWIFI seems more interesting but works only on AD936x with Xilinx Zynq7020 or similar

[scopehal] azonenberg b08d157 - SDL1000X: added get/set set point methods
<

[scopehal-apps] azonenberg ab87604 - Added GUI to control electronic load set points
<
azonenberg>
ok i think we're at minimum viable state for electronic loads
<
azonenberg>
you can switch CC/CP/CR/CV modes
<
azonenberg>
turn on and off
<
azonenberg>
set the target
<
azonenberg>
and read back voltage/current (and compute power/resistance from that)
<
azonenberg>
none of the fancy features like overcurrent/overpower shutdown, scripted sequences of test steps, or transients are implemented yet
<
azonenberg>
but it's good enough for the stuff i need to do this week :p
