On hyprland there are env variables QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME, qt6ct which tells hyprland to theme qt apps using qt6ct app. What would be the river counterpart?
<vyivel>
Vartroc: QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME is not a hyprland env variable nor is it related to compositor logic at all; it should work either way
<Vartroc>
interesting. i am over on the vimjoyer discord and there someone asked me this (trying to get theming on Nixos to work) so I looked at the river man pages and found nothing so I asked here. Thanks for the answer!
<dnkl>
it's sad because a search (Google or whatever) for QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME doesn't return any hits in the QT docs...

some user-facing qt stuff like those env vars seem to be very poorly documented yeah

hey. I'm trying to build latest commit (as well as the 0.3.5 tag) on FreeBSD as the packaged version is getting old. It's failing at not finding <linux/input-event-codes.h>. Is FreeBSD support lagging behind perhaps, or is there a trick I can use?

<ifreund>
cryptocode: afaik that header has never been a problem on FreeBSD in the past and our FreeBSD CI passes so no clue what's up on your end
<ifreund>
maybe have a look at the packages installed by our FreeBSD CI to see if you are missing one?
<ifreund>
or search for which FreeBSD package provides that header?
<ifreund>
(I know it says linux but FreeBSD should ship that header somewhere...)
