I've been building river with XWayland suppoert, bucause well, "why not". Today I booted into linux-6.4.0-rc4 and disvoered "why not".
<NickH>
Huge CPU usage by XWayland and I don't think I was even running any X programs.
<NickH>
Quickly recompiled river without XWayland and all is welll now.
<NickH>
So, question does anyone here user river with XWayland and a very new kernel? I didn't see this with linux 6.1.x.

Hi All, is river considered to be alpha, beta or stable?
<RZ_MJ[m]>
Steven_M: The github readme says: "Note: river is currently early in development. Expect breaking changes and missing features. Bugs should however be rare at this point, if you run into one don't hesitate to open an issue"
<Steven_M>
Okay, thanks :-)

NickH: sounds like an Xwayland bug tbh, maybe check their issue tracker?
<NickH>

ifreund: someone re-added the GTK CSS to remove the titlebar to the wiki. I remember you removing that because it was hacky and caused some other faults. Should I remove it again?

leon-p: maybe a disclaimer that it breaks things would be better if people keep passing it around
<ifreund>
perhaps with a link to that issue about Firefox's title bar rendering being totally messed up
