<ane> is there a way to get the currently focused output using riverctl?
<NikhilSingh[m]1> what is the correct way to logout?
<leon-p> NikhilSingh[m]1: riverctl exit
<leon-p> i think our layout impl has a slight bug: we start a layout demand after user commands are send to inactive layouts. Can't remember if that was intentioal; It definitely won't hurt anything, but it surprised me a bit.

<NikhilSingh[m]1> what are the changes in stacktile 1.0?
<leon-p> two minor bug-fixes and the ability to clamp the primary_count to the view count
<leon-p> I mainly tagged 1.0 so that the zig rewrite can be the 2.x line
<leon-p> the C version is considered feature complete now
<plumeus> just read the README of Stacktile. "devides the screen", looks like a typo
<leon-p> well, now it's too late
<plumeus> v2.0.0 is the README fix. Very breaking change
<leon-p> the README will have to be rewritten anyway, v2 works completely different

<ifreund> leon-p: ah, yeah we should probably check if the layout is the active layout before arranging the output there
<ifreund> fixed
<leon-p> neat!

<tleydxdy[m]> > ability to clamp the primary_count to the view count
<tleydxdy[m]> can we make sure this only clamp on increasing the count, and not automatically decrease?
<tleydxdy[m]> basically say I have count to 2, I close 1 window and open another, I would expect the count to still be 2, not 1
<leon-p> as I said, the C version is feature complete

<leon-p> speaking of, I just pushed the first commit of the zig rewrite. A lot is still missing though, including documentation.

<tleydxdy[m]> al, lol this was about stacktile
<tleydxdy[m]> I mixed up with the issue for rivertile
<leon-p> ah. FWIW rivertile is also featurecomplete

<Pound_Hash> Hello. The program `waylock` has been loading twice recently. After resuming my computer from sleep, I enter my password, press enter, and the screen flashes then returns to the lock screen again. Then, I enter my password, press enter, and my computer is free to use again.
<Pound_Hash> I didn't used to have to enter my password twice.
<Pound_Hash> This started several days ago.
<Pound_Hash> I used `swayidle`. In its config I have: timeout 300 'wlopm --off eDP-1' resume 'wlopm --on eDP-1'
<Pound_Hash>
<Pound_Hash> timeout 305 'setsid --fork waylock'
<Pound_Hash> before-sleep waylock
