<ifreund> leon-p: patch for river-tag-overlay https://0x0.st/-2NA.diff
<ifreund> I can also drop it in a mail if you'd rather have it there
<ifreund> it's now replaced waybar on my laptop :)
<leon-p> thanks, I'll apply it in a minute
<leon-p> glad it works for you :)
<novakane> so how you guys replace others things like clock battery without a bar?
<novakane> I like river-tag-overlay but I still need to think about a better setup for common thing usually in a bar
<leon-p> for the time I have a clock on my wall
<leon-p> battery is not a concern as I rarely take my laptop out these days
<leon-p> I'll have to solve that eventually when everything opens up and I can frequent coffee shops again though.
<Misthios> Just make a cronjob sending the time every 15m :) 10/10 idea
<leon-p> tried that but found it super distracting. I don't like things poping up randomly
<novakane> yeah with a keybind it would probably better
<novakane> not perfect though
<ifreund> I just run date in a terminal :P
<novakane> my battery is trash so even when I'm at home I still need to check that I don't go from 20% to 0 in 5 seconds for whatever reason

<novakane> ifreund: well I guess its an option yeah:p
<leon-p> actually, I could run wlclock on the background and focus an empty tag to see the time
<novakane> I should try a simple script that I bind to notify-send with like cat /sys/class/blah blah and date
