I pinged Mark. Let's wait a couple mins, and then we can start.

<mj2>
hello
<fnordahl>
hi mj2
<imaximets>
It's the last week of a messed up time. :)
<fnordahl>
the twilight zone!
<felixhuettner>
it is actually a lot nicer for me :)
<felixhuettner>
but confusing if it is just a few days a year :)
<mj2>
same here
<imaximets>
OK. I guess, we can start. I don't see Mark online, so I can host.
<imaximets>
Dumitru is also out this week.
<imaximets>
I'll start with my updates, which are not many.

Did some reviews mainly. And picked up my last years' RAFT work to fix a cluster breakage on a server leave when some other servers are down.
<imaximets>
Hope to post a patch set later today or tomorrow.
<imaximets>
And maybe an ask for ubuntu folks here to see if the misbehaviong actions length check fix from the kernel can be backported to ubuntu kernels in some near future. :)
<imaximets>
That's all I have.
<imaximets>
Who wants to go next?
<fnordahl>
I can go if I may?
<imaximets>
fnordahl, all yours.
<fnordahl>
imaximets: I'd be interested in details, and will help if we can.
<fnordahl>
If any of those are fixed by the missing kernel patch I'd be thrilled! :)
<fnordahl>
That's about it for me.
<imaximets>
The link a a little too long for IRC, but I think there was a lot of work done for flaky tests recently by Xavier.
<imaximets>
The kernel change should not be related to OVN tests though.
<fnordahl>
great, will have a look there first, and thanks for the kernel patch link, will have a look
<imaximets>
Thanks, fnordahl !
<imaximets>
Who wants to go next?
<felixhuettner>
i can continue
<imaximets>
felixhuettner, go ahead.
<felixhuettner>
not much this week, most of the work happened last week on the garp_rarp patchset
<felixhuettner>
it took sometime because i found an inconsistency in the ct-zone assignment
<felixhuettner>
for whatever reason in combination with my change that made some ci check randomly fail
<felixhuettner>
but thats it
<imaximets>
ack. Thanks, felixhuettner !
<imaximets>
Forgot to mention that I did a round of review for the IDL performance / run to completion patch set.
<felixhuettner>
yep, we are working on a new version
<felixhuettner>
and your comments will make that a lot nicer
<imaximets>
OK. I didn't have much time to look at replies yet. Will do in the coming days.
<imaximets>
Thanks again.
<imaximets>
Who's next?

I saw mj2 and mkalcok before. Are you still around / want to share? :)
<mkalcok>
I just got back from vacation, so I don't have nothing to report yet :D
<imaximets>
Ack. Thanks, mkalcok !
<mj2>
i wanted to ask about the status of multinode tests
<mj2>
but i dont have anything to report
<mj2>
im just assuming people are busy and will get around to looking at it
<mj2>
especially if dceara is off this week

mj2, OK. IIRC fnordahl wanted to take a look?
<fnordahl>
I think I owe you a review too, yes, will find some time for it!
<mj2>
yes
<mj2>
:+1:
<imaximets>
Dumitru should be back next week. You may ping him on a list I suppose, or just wait a bit and bug him on the next week's meeting. :)
<mj2>
ill wait haha
<fnordahl>
(if only this was matrix, that thumbsup would have looked so much better, but the ephemeralness of IRC is also very nice, how to choose!)
<imaximets>
OK. :D Anyone else here wants to share?
<imaximets>
I guess, not. Let's call it a meeting then.
<imaximets>
Thanks, everyone!
<fnordahl>
\o thanks all, cheers!
<mkalcok>
thanks all, bye o/

fnordahl, fwiw, it looks like most of the failures in your issues are caused by the unexpected "Warning: table ip mangle is managed by iptables-nft, do not touch!" on the stderr of nft list ruleset.
<imaximets>
Which is kind of a weird thing of nft to unconditionally throw out on every request. But should be an easy fix - just add an [ignore].
