NishanthMenon: while I always switch to single core for simpler debugging, SMP is supported by OpenOCD. You need to collect the cores in a SMP node with the command 'target smp...' and add '-rtos hwthread' to each core. Look at tcl/target/rp2040.cfg. Then OpenOCD will open a single gdb port for SMP debugging where each core appears as a thread.
