<jancoow> does openocd support UDPI programming/debugging ?

<PaulFertser> jancoow: hi
<PaulFertser> jancoow: no but some avarice fork does (if you mean atmel new updi debug interface for some newer avr parts)
<PaulFertser> jancoow: and one would need avr dragon or their custom "ice" jtag adapter or atmel edbg to use that.
<karlp> from what I've read, udpi just needs a uart with rx/tx shorted together with a 1k resistor... but till, not in openocd at the moment...

<jancoow> PaulFertser well "new" its out for a time now
<jancoow> at home i indeed used a serial converter with a resistor in between to flash it with pyupdi
<jancoow> however at work we have atmel ices and now have a new project which involves developing, so a debugger is needed
<jancoow> then i've to dust of my windows vbox with microchip studio i guess ;/
<PaulFertser> jancoow: if you have atmel ice at work why not use avarice?
<jancoow> I've never heard of that
<PaulFertser> jancoow: I just mentioned it in the first answer to you today :)
<jancoow> PaulFertser sorry, totally didn't saw that
<jancoow> sounds good!
<PaulFertser> :)
