<dinkelhacker>
Aarch64 question: so I'm in a situation where I can write to a virtual address with openocds write_memory command. However, when I try writing to the same address in gdb or at runtime my writes seem to get ignored. Using virt2phys openocd tells me its "outer shareable, not secure, device memory".
<dinkelhacker>
Does the write_memory command change the EL ? My suspicion is that the memory might only be available at el3 (it is the virtual address mapping of the GIC)
