<tarekb> Hi All,
<tarekb> could you please review this change by PaulFertser: http://openocd.zylin.com/#/c/6297/
<tarekb> the change is around the move to libera
<tarekb> currently I cannot connect to freenode using neither Android IRCCloud nor Linux Pidgin
<PaulFertser> Yes, they banned irccloud
<PaulFertser> Also, they started everything afresh, dropped all channels and users, moved to a new IRC daemon implementation.
<Haohmaru> why would anyone wanna connect to freenope tho ;P~
<Haohmaru> unless for popcr0n material

<borneoa_> Also logbot stopped working ahead of scheduled stop of end of June, due to freenode. https://freenode.logbot.info/_shutdown
<tarekb> plus, logbot will be down by end of June, I would prefer if officially we migrate to libera before that, or change the bot on freenode ...
<tarekb> indeed, borneoa_
<PaulFertser> I personally do not see any reason to have a channel on Freenode anymore.
<Haohmaru> (nor a connection)
zjason` is now known as zjason
<tarekb> then maybe we can push the change #6297 and update the website
<Haohmaru> i too gotta erase freenope from muh website
<tarekb> Hi PaulFertser: I have just checked the debian package for openocd
<tarekb> I have noticed that the latest release is not the buster (stable) yet
<tarekb> do you think that we can get some help on this ?
<PaulFertser> tarekb: somehow the final release was never packaged, see https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/openocd
<PaulFertser> tarekb: guess Jonathan McDowell got busy with something else and have forgotten about it. Are you feeling like giving him a friendly ping?
<tarekb> yes I can do ;)

<pi0> checking if everyone made the switch :)
<pi0> how is everyone?
<pi0> PaulFertser: how have you been?
<pi0> ttmrichter: are are things?
<PaulFertser> pi0: hey
<pi0> spring semester ended a few weeks ago, too a few weeks break, now back at it :D
<pi0> playing the the blackpill
<pi0> i think the blackpill on impluse should of done a little more research and gotten one with some flashrom on it
<pi0> but still a nice piece of hardware
<pi0> is the hackRF still decent? are there cheaper alternatives
<PaulFertser> Decent for what purpose?
<pi0> i found a cool book on amazon, for RE of IOT devices
<pi0> they had a chapter on examining the wireless capabilities of devices
<pi0> but not sure if that device is still worth the big bucks
<pi0> since it was designed a bit ago, there might be cheaper alternatives
<pi0> any interesting projects you are working on PaulFertser?
