20:16 < rcurtin[m]> jonpsy: if you mean joining the "contributors" team, it happens through the process detailed in the mlpack repository's `GOVERNANCE.md` document. typically at the end of the GSoC, if a mentor is willing to vouch for their student, then we just send an email to the contributors group and take a simple vote
