09:57 <helene> hi! i've figured out why the PMIC wasn't working with my kernel config on CM3588 (even after enabling FIXED_REGULATOR and the SCMI options) — it was caused by a deferred probe not resolving in rockchip-spi when accessing the `dma` devices as specified in the SPI device's DT used to communicate to the PMIC

09:58 <helene> the rockchip-spi does not log why the deferred probe fails however, but i was able to figure it out by reading kernel sources :) i'd submit a patch for logging that information, but i don't have knowledge of the driver/probe subsystems
