Kwiboo: I think I've actually managed to reproduce Chris Obbard's finding \o/
<diederik>
On my Q64-B I have the problem that when I try to hotplug, I (usually) also 'touch' the power plug which often results in a reboot ... hence that's FAR from ideal
<diederik>
The jury is still out on the (exact) cause for that, but I suspect the PSU
<diederik>
But I also have a Q64-A which looks like it does not have this problem ... and it looks like it's in the exact right spot where I even can do a hotplug
<diederik>
Still on the old kernel, I plugged in the HDMI cable from my 4k TV into the Q64-A and I got a 1080p resolution on the console.
<diederik>
When I unplugged and replugged it, my TV still shows 'No Signal' ...
<diederik>
So now it's time to upgrade the kernel to the one with the latest patch set ...
<diederik>
Oh crap ... maybe not ... as it seems to have lost power too ...
<diederik>
On powering on, I still have no signal with Q64-A (still old kernel though)
<diederik>
on what kernel (version)? I'm pretty sure you'd need PCIE_ROCKCHIP_DW_EP in your kernel which was added pretty recently

The rk3588-extra.dtsi has a `compatible = "rockchip,rk3588-pcie-ep"` which is afaik the only one with that compatible ...
<diederik>
... but Documentation/devicetree/bindings/pci/rockchip-dw-pcie-ep.yaml has an enum for compatible with "rockchip,rk3568-pcie-ep" and "rockchip,rk3588-pcie-ep"
