<LinuxHackerman> CounterPillow: I'm not familiar with the etiquette, which lists should I send it to exactly? I just saw that it has a number of lists in the Cc and only seems to be addressed To two individuals
<mps> LinuxHackerman: also not sure, but usually I use 'reply-to-all'
<mps> LinuxHackerman: I tested patches. it works fine with xsct to set color temperature
<mps> also with xgamma can set individual color but with -g (green) xgamma resets red to 1
<mps> not big problem for me, just note if someone is 'hit' by this
<mps> and with kernel 5.19 looks like my problem with suspend-to-ram -> resume when using internal emmc as root FS is finally fixed
<mps> so, good machine become when I stopped to use it, as with previous two chromebooks. interesting :)
<mps> and now gru-kevin could be used with grub to boot different kernels

<LinuxHackerman> mps: oooh so resume-from-suspend was broken on eMMC? I guess I need to try that again too, given both the potential fix and that I've currently installed to an SD card
<mps> LinuxHackerman: suspend/resume on emmc never worked for me with mainline kernels, and always worked with chromium kernels
<mps> external mmc suspend/resume worked always fine with mainline kernels
<mps> I reported bug about 3 years ago to maintainers but no one found fix
<mps> and some other people reported that they don't have this problem even with mainline and using emmc
<mps> maybe may exemplary is specific, I have no idea. I hope it is fixed now

<CounterPillow> mmind00: sorry for the ping, if you get the time then getting this one queued for whatever is the next merge window would be great, I've tested the patch and it's working https://patchwork.kernel.org/project/linux-rockchip/patch/20220214212955.1178947-2-piotr.oniszczuk@gmail.com/
