<steev> narmstrong: i'm trying to get the waveshare 7.9" hdmi 400x1280 display working with a radxa zero - i tried adding a hack to https://github.com/steev/linux/blob/sc8280xp-next-20220901/drivers/gpu/drm/meson/meson_venc.c#L872 to make that <400 instead of <480, and forcing a 400x1280 edid, and adding "drm.edid_firmware=edid/400x1280.bin video=HDMI-A-1:400x1280@60:e" to the cmdline and while the dmesg output SEEMS like it should work...
<steev> i'm just not getting any output on the display; if i want to use a 400x1280/1280x400 display, would i need to actually add it in with the rest?
