<Danct12> anyone here have a gt-king?
<Danct12> i cant get the wifi module to load
psydroid has joined #linux-amlogic
<xdarklight> Danct12: I don't have one but can you still pastebin your kernel log (dmesg)?
<Danct12> it's also not detected in /sys/bus/sdio
<xdarklight> Danct12: can you please also paste the output of "cat /sys/kernel/debug/devices_deferred" ?
<xdarklight> and your kernel .config could also be helpful
<xdarklight> I suspect a dependency of the MMC controller/card is not loaded so it doesn't even try to probe the SDIO card
<Danct12> xdarklight, it shows nothing
<Danct12> wifi works fine on android though, so there's that
<xdarklight> ok, so we can assume that the hardware works. now the question is: what's the problem - 1) .dts (description of let's say a GPIO is not what your board uses) 2) kernel .config 3) driver issue 4) combination of any of these
<Danct12> here's config.gz
<Danct12> (download and ungzip it)
<Danct12> 1 would be a interesting case, i'll ping narmstrong for that
<xdarklight> can you easily boot Android? cat /sys/kernel/debug/gpio there typically is helpful to compare against the .dts
<steev> Danct12: you could also zcat it to paste it
<steev> where did you get your kernel from?
