seems like the RPi that powered my LE setup for the past few years finally bit the bullet. should I buy a version 4 or version 5 as its replacement?
<colo>
and does it make sense to have more than 2GB RAM? (my media is all local on a NAS in the LAN)

colo, i'm happy with a pi4 in that situation (although it does have 4GB RAM, I don't know much of that gets used)
<jrwren>
my pi5 with 8GB running libreelect right now says: 6958.3 free
<jrwren>
so, I think only a little over 1GB gets used until you start using larger plugins

this question pops up regularly. 2GB is more than enough for LE
<colo>
is there a way to trigger whatever "Create System and Kodi Backup" in the LE menus does via CLI?

i don't know about triggering the exact code, but these forum posts I found suggest that it's not much more than running tar (and cleaning up old ones)
