I just installed LibreELEC 11.0.6 on a Lenovo G480 laptop (generic x86_64) which is connected through VGA (and a VGA-RCA adapter) to a television. LE displays Kodi on the laptop display and the LE logo on the VGA output, and its intended case use is to have Kodi displayed on the VGA output (whatever is displayed on the laptop's LCD screen is irrelevant as it's out of sight).

23:46 <khufu> Tried to see if going through the steps in the EDID wiki article did anything to no avail (getedid won't start because it detects multiple screens, dumping manually appears to have done nothing - n.b. card0-HDMI-A-1 is connected as per status but cat /sys/class/drm/card0-HDMI-A-1/edid outputs nothing).

23:52 <khufu> I'm aware my setup is far from LE's projected use case, but I was wondering if there was a way to do it that didn't involve hamfisting syslinux.cfg to override whatever default video option it has.
