<sol[m]> Hello. I have a RPi4 with LibreElec. I recently upgraded to 10.0.2 from 10.0.0 Beta. Since the upgrade, sound stops working every time after the system wakes up from sleep/suspend.
<sol[m]> Would anyone have ideas on what I can try?

<sol[m]> Okay, I figured out that when LibreElec wakes up, it uses "DVI1" instead of "HDMI1".
<sol[m]> If I go to Settings > Resolution, and re-apply the existing resolution, sound starts working again.

<adema> Is it expected that after the first reboot of libreelec, I get a filesystem corruption error?
<LEBot> [slack] <chewitt> Nope
<adema> and the repair fails because fsck cannot find a filesystem with LABEL=STORAGE
<LEBot> [slack] <chewitt> What hardware?
<adema> potato board
<adema> amlogic libretech-s905x-cc
<LEBot> [slack] <chewitt> and what LE image?
<adema> LibreELEC-AMLGX.arm-11.0-nightly-20220331-28f7e16-lepotato
<LEBot> [slack] <chewitt> It's presumably booting from SD card not an emmc module?
<adema> yes
<adema> but I have an eMMC with a system installed already
<adema> but not libreelec
<LEBot> [slack] <chewitt> which OS and which u-boot?
<adema> U-Boot 2022.01 (Mar 31 2022 - 19:14:23 +0200) libretech-cc
<adema> the system on the eMMC is a voidlinux one
<LEBot> [slack] <chewitt> okay, so should support extlinux boot then
<adema> but it shouldn't matter right? Because its actually libreelec from the sdcard being booted
<adema> yeah, libreelec boots, but fails with a filesystem corruption error
<LEBot> [slack] <chewitt> It matters because if emmc is present and has a u-boot installed it will be used I've the u-boot on the SD card
<LEBot> [slack] <chewitt> Instead of the..
<adema> Right ok
<adema> but with a fresh libreelec dd on the sdcard, it boots fine
<adema> I used it for a few houra
<adema> hours*
<adema> its only after the first reboot that the system doesn't boot anymore
<adema> also, it tries to find a partition with label STORAGE with doesn't exist
<LEBot> [slack] <chewitt> something corrupts the file system then
<LEBot> [slack] <chewitt> are you doing clean shutdown in Kodi or just pulling the power out?
<adema> well, it's a bit surprising actually, I am using the UART tty of libreelec and blkid doesn't show the LABEL for /dev/mmcblk0p2
<adema> but if I plug the sdcard on my laptop, blkid shows it properly
<adema> /dev/mmcblk0p2: LABEL="STORAGE" UUID="509d9b72-3eed-4fbc-8a5f-b992691ce620" BLOCK_SIZE="1024" TYPE="ext4" PARTUUID="7f3805f6-02"
<adema> I typed "reboot" on the UART shell iirc
<LEBot> [slack] <chewitt> have you tried a different SD card?
<adema> Not yet, no
<adema> it's actually a brand new one :D
<adema> I am running fsck locally from my laptop and there are many corruptions indeed
<LEBot> [slack] <chewitt> odd, haven't seen issues like that before

<dontyouloveshort> hi
<dontyouloveshort> does libreelec support the mali 52 (odroid n2+) for fluid 4k high bitrate movies?
<LEBot> [slack] <chewitt> LE supports the Mali-G52 and if you’re playing 8-bit HEVC or VP9 content it should work
<LEBot> [slack] <chewitt> If you play 10-bit media it will wedge the board and need a reboot
<LEBot> [slack] <chewitt> the novelty of that problem wears off rather quickly

<shibboleth> i've noticed that 10/12 (30/36)-bit playback is now possible on rpi4, is it possible to instruct the pi to also output the gui in 10/12 to avoid the seconds of delay when switching for playback?

<dontyouloveshort> this file: ./LibreELEC.USB-SD.Creator.Linux-64bit.bin does not run properly on ubuntu 18, cant select version or device
<dontyouloveshort> will this: dd if=LibreELEC-AMLGX.arm-11.0-nightly-20220403-ee58fd1-odroid-n2.img of=/dev/sdc bs=1M copy the data to my sdcard and be bootable?
<dontyouloveshort> will try to boot that tomorrow
<LEBot> [slack] <chewitt> It should work, the app is in the process of being updated but Qt on Linux is a bitch to package
<LEBot> [slack] <chewitt> shibboleth not possible to preset higher but depths. Also not desirable for GUI speed reasons
<LEBot> [slack] <chewitt> afk now.. about to take off :)
