<vipqualitypost[m> on the schematics it's marked that the LVDS connector J5 is a temporary parts selection only for rev C... is the replacement connector decided/ why is it changing?

<vegard_e[m]> AIUI the connector was a «we've got a bunch of spare IO left, let's make it available somehow» thing that's not really end-user oriented due to lack of protections
<vegard_e[m]> I don't know what the future plans for it are, but my impression is that it's currently pretty much only used for the hyperram addon, so one possibility is to omit the connector and use those signals to put the hyperram chip directly on the board

<vipqualitypost[m> hm
<vipqualitypost[m> maybe a bit premature, but i've been watching the open beam interface project for a bit (built on top of glasgow) and have an idea for a related addon board. But if the connector will go away, maybe I would just have to build in a glasgow to what I wanted to use, or something.
