tpw_rules: I found a closed issue that discusses building firmware with docker vs nix, does that mean you have a shell.nix or flake.nix for GIE devs?
<FireFly>
I think the `glasgow` in nixpkgs should just work? it was my understanding that the CLI sends the firmware over each time you run an applet, and I could at least get the applets to work when I was messing with it some months back
<whitequark[cis]>
shapr: (do i remember you from EC days or do I have the wrong person?)
<whitequark[cis]>
also, re: building firmware, you don't need to build the firmware at all since it's checked into the repo
<shapr>
whitequark[cis]: yes, I wrote the first README for GIE from a twitter thread where you answered my questions
<shapr>
FireFly: aha, I just found that!
<shapr>
FireFly: är du samma FireFly från FP landet?
<FireFly>
I guess :p
<whitequark[cis]>
heck, nice! long time no see
<FireFly>
(if you mean #haskell-blah once upon a time)
<shapr>
yeah, nice to see you again!
<shapr>
jo

Hello. I was wondering about the tracker at https://glasgow.1bitsquared.com/ -- is it still up to date? I ask because it's been reporting the same queue position for a few weeks now.
<whitequark[cis]>
Esden has been down with covid
<whitequark[cis]>
(for a few weeks until a few days ago)
<Guest32>
D: oh no! On the mend though?
<whitequark[cis]>
he seems better yeah
<Guest32>
That's good -- I mean, improving health. I've suddenly stopped worrying about the tracker.
