<sys64738_2574[m]> there used to be listings on mouser for the glasgow and case (as evidenced by some lingering search results), but those seem to have disappeared now. is this supposed to be the case?
<sys64738_2574[m]> (mainly just wondering because i have a partial mouser order ready, and adding the case to a mouser order would allow me to avoid the 2x$20 shipping fee)
<sys64738_2574[m]> * there used to be listings on mouser for the glasgow and case (as evidenced by some lingering search results), but those seem to have disappeared now. is this supposed to be the case? (pun unintended)

<esden[m]> humm... it is possible that they were listed at some point... I will have to ask my contact what happened, or if it was some database mistake. It is very much possible that they only start listing stuff after the core campaign and pre-orders are fulfilled, and we have agreed upon whole sale pricing for them.
<sys64738_2574[m]> ah alright
<esden[m]> SBTW, I came back from vacation, and we all got covid with the whole family. Some odd variant that lingered for several weeks.
<esden[m]> I am finally out of the crud, and back to proper work.
<esden[m]> I have managed to assemble 1300 Glasgow back sides, and 780 fronts. So we have 780 fully SMD assembled boards, and 520 that need fronts assembled still. We are slowly working through the through hole connector soldering.
<esden[m]> I hope to send another ~200 unit batch to Mouser in a week or so.
<esden[m]> It will be nice to have just all the SMD assembly done, and only through hole soldering and packing left. 🙂

<jessssssssssie[m> i see a message from may that indicates the logic analyzer applet is known to be rather barebones (e.g., no real-time analysis) -- are there any plans to expand it / write a more featureful one in the near future? (no worries if not, just trying to figure out personally whether i should buy some fx2 device)
Jarrett[m] has joined #glasgow
<Jarrett[m]> I would buy a $12 fx2 device, just to have it.
<Jarrett[m]> That's in addition to a Glasgow if the Glasgow will suit your needs in the future, though
<Jarrett[m]> it's really nice having some of those cheap LAs kicking around

<purdeaandrei[m]> Stupid question: how does one run the unit-tests?
<purdeaandrei[m]> (i.e. the stuff from software/tests/ )
<purdeaandrei[m]> I tried: cd glasgow/software; pdm run test
<purdeaandrei[m]> and I'm getting "importlib.metadata.PackageNotFoundError: No package metadata was found for glasgow"
<purdeaandrei[m]> Feels like something related to how pipx -e installs glasgow, but thought I'd ask before trying to figure out how package management works
