<duskwuff[m]> "some details at http://www.blunk..." <- but also, wtf
<Wanda[cis]>
is this some engineering samples that breached containment?
<duskwuff[m]>
I think it was a poorly announced device revision, I have a bunch of XC9536 / XC9572 with the variant IDCODE
<Wanda[cis]>
poorly supported too, if ISE cannot program them
<duskwuff[m]>
they program fine in Impact but won't erase without the custom SVF
<duskwuff[m]>
(the current version of Impact that is, from what I gather they erased fine in some older versions but I haven't verified that)
<Wanda[cis]>
hmm.
<Wanda[cis]>
interesting.
<Wanda[cis]>
either way, mine definitely support the new erase sequence
<Wanda[cis]>
except, slowly.
<Wanda[cis]>
the IDCODE also checks out with what ISE expects
<Wanda[cis]>
(by the way, the algorithm they came up with is correct, but overkill for xc9536 and xc9572; for xc95108 and up, it's incorrect and missing higher FBs)
<Wanda[cis]>
* up with in the linked PDF is correct,
