is there a way to scroll to the very top or bottom of what is available in the terminal (rather than having to use shift+page_up / shift+page_down and wait while foot scrolls on what could potentially be a looong scollback)
<akspecs>
in other words, can one scrollback to the very top or bottom by binding that to say shift+home (top) and shift+end (bottom)
<akspecs>
if possible, even through a hacky workaround, i'd be curious to here how. thanks in advance.

akspecs: can't think of an obvious solution with scrolling - but if I needed it I'd probably use "pipe-scrollback" command to display it in another terminal or something similar
<sochotnicky>
another option - maybe it's not too hard to implement so an RFE for a dedicated command could be made...
<dnkl>
akspecs: not at the moment. But adding shortcuts for jumping all the way to the start, or end, if the scrollback would be possible
<mvdan>
I'd use that, I've kept "page up" pressed a number of times
