<Arnavion> Is there any RSS feed / mailing list I can subscribe to to know when a new release of foot / fcft / tllist is cut? I want to package them for OpenSUSE, so some notification for when I need to update the packages would be nice to have
<Arnavion> For Github-hosted projects the releases page has an atom feed, but codeberg doesn't seem to have them
<dnkl> Arnavion: good question... Not sure how other package maintainers keep up to date.
<dnkl> I suppose you could "watch" the projects
<dnkl> But that requires an account
<dnkl> And you'll probably get lots of non-release related stuff

<Arnavion> Well, if you announce them here, that's also fine
<dnkl> Arnavion: I'm actually unsure what kind of notifications you get for watched projects. But I could always maintain a packager list and manually send out release notifications.
<Arnavion> https://github.com/emersion/xdg-desktop-portal-wlr/releases.atom And then I put that in my RSS reader that I check every day
<Arnavion> Oh, you mean watched projects on codeberg. I wasn't going to do that anyway; CBA to make an account just for this
<dnkl> I've asked codeberg for suggestions. Let's see what that results in

<sterni> I watch the project on codeberg, but is is relatively noisy
<sterni> hm, repology doesn't have a version feed per project :(
<cbb> It looks like there's some progress being made on RSS support in gitea

<cbb> dnkl: Have you considered using a subpackage for foot-terminfo in the AUR PKGBUILD?
<cbb> like e.g. kitty-terminfo does
<dnkl> cbb: I did use a sub-package before. But seeing that they are completely orthogonal in terms of dependencies, it made me sense to have them as separate packages.
<cbb> dnkl: ah ok
<cbb> I was just looking at https://codeberg.org/dnkl/foot/issues/569 and it came to mind
