Hi, I am running Fedora-Developer-Rawhide-20200108 in QEMU 7.0.0 (which it does fine) and wanted to upgrade to Fedora-33 using „dnf upgrade —best“ as stated in the login prompt screen. However my attempt doing so failed like this: https://pastebin.com/Fe8EJ3Xg some conflicts between epiphany-1:3.37.2-2.fc33.riscv64 and epiphany-runtime-1:3.34.1-1.fc32.riscv64
<iooi>
Has anybody any idea what I can do about this?

If you don't need epiphany just remove it.
<davidlt[m]>
Alternative would be to use dnfdragora to remove/install (aka replace) a package within a single transaction.

davidlt[m]: thanks, removal of epiphany using „sudo dnf remove epiphany“ was successful. Now let’s see if the upgrade works this time.

upgrading seems to have worked so far. I am now the proud owner of „Fedora-33-Rawhide-Kernel-5.14.16-101.0.riscv64.fc33.riscv64-20211109.n.0-sda.raw“ (naming by me). Anyone interested, I also can xz that 32GB raw image, it was quite some work and took a time to create (although most of the time I waited patiently).

Some more questions: I tried (one more time since my last attempt) to start a Xorg-Session using QEMU 7.0.0 This time it is different that I built QEMU with dbus support (--enable-dbus-display), since I thought it might help because fedora 33 uses GNOME as default desktop which IIRC uses dbus for configurations, right? Then I also upgraded to Fedora-33 (Rawhide) using the 5.14.16-101 Kernel. When I now look at the /var/log/Xorg.0.log I think

got further than last time: https://pastebin.com/q7EHfjhv Since I am no Xorg-expert I don’t know at which point the whole thing fails. Can please anyone with some more insight than me have a look at it? The Command used to run QEMU is: https://pastebin.com/GAkeyBfN Thanks in advance!
