Hi there! I noticed that starting today cincinnati at updates.coreos.fedoraproject.org is throughing 502 errors whenever zincati checks for updates. I'm still pretty new to zincati so I don't know how often that type of thing happens to the update server. I went digging around on github and funny enough certs expired on updates.c.f.o but I think thats probably unrelated since you use lets encrypt and presumably I would be
<dwarfkinghreidma>
getting cert errors. Is this a good place to talk about this issue?

dwarf king hreidmar: That's the right place. Can you file an issue in the Fedora CoreOS tracker on GitHub? Thanks!

it seems like to hit this, you need to have CIFS mounts using kerb auth and not renewing the kerb ticket. IMO it's specific enough that it shouldn't block stable, and it's not worth any communications either.
<jlebon>
but interested in bgilbert's thoughts

+1

This is something where if we had more flexibility in our release notes we could include some communication about it
