<aleskandro[m]> What action should we take when the installation of layered packages on top of an ostree native container ends up with content in /var, leading `ostree container commit` to fail? Is this an issue to raise somewhere or we should mitigate by ourselves?
<aleskandro[m]> Example: https://pastebin.com/daHBEMFw
<walters> aleskandro: You can safely remove those particular files
<aleskandro[m]> 👍️
<aleskandro[m]> Thanks

<adamw> travier: Colin Walters bad news, i'm afraid - my shiny new openqa tests suggest the unified core stuff still isn't ready
<adamw> is there a corresponding change to pungi or anaconda that i need to test with, perhaps?

<travier[m]> adamw: Made a revert PR. Will test again next week

<travier[m]> I'll copy your openQA test script/installer build to make one in the new CI so that we have coverage for that too

<adamw> travier: worth noting that the whole sequence of tests - build an ostree, build an installer, then run an install - takes ~3 hours in openQA
<adamw> doing coreos rather than silverblue would likely be faster, you may have faster storage, but it's not quick :P
<adamw> i'll have to look if there's any way to speed any of it up
<adamw> travier: also note that you have to do some moderately hacky stuff to emulate a releng build without actually going to the trouble of doing an entire pungi setup, like, uh, this: https://pagure.io/fedora-qa/os-autoinst-distri-fedora/blob/main/f/ostree-parse-pungi.py#_26
<adamw> at some point i'll be building enough images in openqa that it might make sense to just actually use pungi, but i don't feel like i got quite that far yet :P
