<ivandi> Hi, many thanks for 3.8-rc5 iso
<ivandi> Just a few remarks
<ivandi> Does grub2 really depends on libnvme, that pulls dbus
<ivandi> The latest LTS kernel is 6.12
<ivandi> /dev/{pts,shm} should not be in the default fstab, they are mounted by /etc/rc
<ivandi> the device rule for fuse module creates two mounts, it is better to handle this in rc.modules: modprobe fuse && /bin/mountpoint -q /sys/fs/fuse/connections || /bin/mount -t fusectl fusectl /sys/fs/fuse/connections
<jaeger> grub2's libnvme dep is a runtime dep rather than build time, used by grub-mkconfig

<cruxbridge> <tim> ivandi: thanks
<jue> pts and shm are in fstab to be able to set options for them
<jue> hmm, which two mounts for fuse? IMO it's better to let udev create the mount point

<ivandi> 81-crux.rules in eudev package mounts /sys/fs/fuse/connections upon fuse module load. for some reason it mounts it twice
<ivandi> i have 2x fusectl on /sys/fs/fuse/connections type fusectl (rw,relatime) mounts after modprobe fuse
STASIdownunder has joined #crux
<ivandi> after going to runlevel 1 and back to runlevel 2 i have 2 more mount entries
<ivandi> btw, init 1 followed by init 1 halts the system :)

<ivandi> every run of /sbin/start_udev creates two more fuse mounts
