<r0ni> just noting that cbindgen 0.27 breaks building firefox, just for FYI purposes
<farkuhar> r0ni: thanks for reporting. I was going to bump the version of contrib/firefox later today, so I might as well incorporate any patch needed for the latest cbindgen.
<farkuhar> on a related note, downstream users should be thankful that beerman was not too hasty in updating wlroots as soon as version 0.18 came out. Gotta make sure there aren't any unwanted side effects on the dependent ports.
<beerman> do I read a "I should've checked if firefox is unhappy" note in there? :)
<farkuhar> "checking if firefox is unhappy" does take a bit longer than checking a simpler port like sway. I sometimes wonder how much longer my early-2021 PC build will continue to serve for hefty compile jobs like firefox, before I have to invest in more RAM and a new CPU to keep up with maintainer responsibilities.
<beerman> With sway it's always like that, I didn't need to test it, I know it
<r0ni> beerman: sorry, i've no time to test that patch at all until tomorrow at earliest (so I assume it'll be checked by then) just had setup a FF build before ran off to bed this morn
<beerman> no worries
