[Discord] <antarctica9713> Hi all. I'm having fun with a OrangePi zero lts.
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <antarctica9713> Unfortunately it can't boot directly on USB. So i ducplicated the SD card on the usb SSD, and gave it a try. It works. surprisigny with 2 partitions having the same UUID. The root partition is now stated to be /dev/sda1. Great!
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <antarctica9713> But now I have troubles to update the kernel. I have to manualy mount the "old root" which is on the SD card to overwrire the content of /boot folder with the content of /boot from SSD.
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <antarctica9713> Is it Ok like i do ? Anything better ? Thx.
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <antarctica9713> I have no screen/keyboard on it. I flashed the SD card hoping it would install and have sshd running.
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <antarctica9713> May be i missed something. A step beween flash and first boot ? A config file ?
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <antarctica9713> I'm currently running ´Armbian_community 24.8.0-trunk.553 Bookworm with Linux 6.6.43-current-sunxi´
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <Werner> sshd is enabled by default. all nics are set to dhcp. Check router for IP. if it does not boot -> #❓first-aid
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <antarctica9713> It booted. Everything works fine, but i need to keep both "/boot" folder synced ( from SSD to SD) each time there is a kernel upgrade.
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <antarctica9713> I do it manually right now
