https://github.com/armbian/build/pull/5135 seems that the AllWinner A64 in OLIMEX Teres-I is also affected by this causing failure to boot, has anyone dealt with it yet on armbian?

I am hence confused why a 7 month old changed will suddenly start causing issue on an unrelated soc when it was working fine 2 months ago. Could you please share more details?
