<shad0vv> Hello everyone! I have radxa-zero and I will install armbian on my other board. I just want to ask about the dtb, seems like the official builds have different dtb?
<Armbian-Discord>
<shad0vv> I wan't to enable led blinking for radxa-zero v1.5 hardware which is easily done by editing the pins from 0x08 to 0x0a but I can't find this on armbian dtb for radxa-zero
<Armbian-Discord>
<IgorPec> official builds are based on legacy kernel which is usually different
<Armbian-Discord>
<IgorPec> good morning
<Armbian-Discord>
<shad0vv> good morning! how can I possibly do this? now my radxa-zero just have it's led on
<Armbian-Discord>
<IgorPec> i don't know, not an expert in this area
<Armbian-Discord>
<shad0vv> Thank you

shad0vv I have an overlay that does just that; though it will depend on the kernel you’re using on yours, what is your kernel version?
<steev>
Also iirc, c0rnelius has a script that’ll do it as well
<steev>
If the kernel is based off mainline, afaik, mainline doesn’t have the user led patch
<steev>
(It applies cleanly though)

The led doesn't work, because its not in the default dts and a patch to include it was never submitted to Armbian.

<c0rnelius> Actually it would make more sense to include two led overlays for the board, than adding led support into the dts. Since the gpio is different depending on the revision of the board.

<shad0vv> steeve, I have official build for armbian so I think mainline? Can you share your overlay?
<Armbian-Discord>
<shad0vv> If led overlay would work, does overlays to enable gpio pins that are on the radxa build can be used on armbian as overlays for gpios to work?

<c0rnelius> @shad0vv something like this: https://paste.debian.net/1254085/ should work on Radxa, although the hexadecimal line might look different on kernel 5.10.y. With Armbian the delete-node bit wouldn't need to be there at all, as its not apart of the dts currently.

<shad0vv> I included this when I rebuild my kernel from radxa repo so no need to patch. I will try these if this would work maybe tomorrow night. Thanks again

<Zanoryt> @IgorPec I have several available servers not being used (data center in Seattle, CA, USA) and have been considering setting up an rsync mirror for Armbian. They each are allocated 32TB of allowed outbound traffic per month. Do you think that's enough to be added to the mirror pool?
