[Discord] <Werner> Seems like xunlong adressed the ethernet issue on 3B two ways: hw revision and software adjustments. https://x.na4.eu/KOTu3/MOrELeMu53.png

[Discord] <kwiboo> So guessing it should not have affected u-boot in armbian, seem to be using my u-boot branch and that should already have had correct io-voltage domain configured for this board
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <kwiboo> Sad part seem to be that v2.1 rev use 1v8 instead of 3v3 so may cause even more issues

[Discord] <rpardini> I've used the hell out of the ethernet of the 3b for _months_. Both from Linux and from u-boot, I developed a lot of PXE stuff using it. No idea what my board revision was -- I got rid of it already.
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <rpardini> ofc using @kwiboo 's u-boot, he has been kindly carrying my defconfig with @amazingfate 's DT. The flash chip ID patch is even upstream now.

[Discord] <rpardini> What _did_ have a problem was the pcie; only low-powered nvme or sata could be used. If it even much over 2W, aborts.
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <kwiboo> @rpardini I have sent an updated DT for the board to upstream Linux, and working on a v2, will send the board to U-Boot after that has landed, if you do not mind 🙂

[Discord] <rpardini> Nice, ofc, it's Signed-off, go ahead. I was expecting Spikerguy to send his DT upstream (he had a cleaner, if non-(wifi)-working) tree, and I forgot...
<DC-IRC>
[Discord] <rpardini> Nice stuff. Very clean; I'll extract the wifi/bt (which is out of tree, pile of crap driver) related nodes from the original DT into an overlay for Armbian so we're ready for when it lands.
