<DC-IRC> <amazingfate> I think we can change to the standard filename. Ubuntu's installer ubiquity will also check it.

<DC-IRC> <Tonymac32> 🥳
<DC-IRC> <efectn> I also want to send some series for opi5 but i need to learn how to use git send-email first 😄
<DC-IRC> <Tonymac32> It is a pain in the ass, I used git format-patch to make the patches, then added the needed notes, then added the needed emails to the cover letter, then *finally* git send-mail with switches to use the cover letter to and CC for all patches in the folder (make sure to only have the series in there 😆)
<DC-IRC> <Tonymac32> All that said it wasn't terrible, there's just more undocumented than documented (Heiko likes the pmic regulators to be alphabetically ordered entries, while others prefer a logic-based order, etc etc)
<DC-IRC> <efectn> I hate alphabetically ordering, it will be painful
<DC-IRC> <Tonymac32> 😆
<DC-IRC> <Tonymac32> Honestly I just copied the order used in already+released boards
<DC-IRC> <efectn> I wonder why there are no common dtsi for rk3588 in upstream
<DC-IRC> <efectn> All the boards use the same properties for pmic
<DC-IRC> <Tonymac32> There is an rk3588.dtsi and rk3588s.dtsi
<DC-IRC> <efectn> I wonder why there are no common pmic dtsi for rk3588 in upstream
<DC-IRC> <Tonymac32> Ah for the pmic? There are some differences board/board
<DC-IRC> <Tonymac32> It's the same IC but which reg is doing what differs
<DC-IRC> <efectn> There are a few boards that use different pmic configuration in rk3588
<DC-IRC> <Tonymac32> Same hellscape as rk3399, everything is the same as *except*
<DC-IRC> <jackn01> hello
<DC-IRC> <Tonymac32> So, they keep it in the board files
<DC-IRC> <Tonymac32> Some boards need to limit the ramp rate due to design choices in passive components for example
<DC-IRC> <efectn> Then let me do the same. I'm still waiting for appliement of pcie2 series
<DC-IRC> <jackn01> I installed the xfce image on the op4, but the root password seems not to be 1234 ?
<DC-IRC> <Tonymac32> Yeah I was waiting, but figured it seemed risky to wait too long, since there is some confusion about why Rockchip did Rockchip things
<DC-IRC> <Tonymac32> It should be, you are trying to access it over ssh?
<DC-IRC> <jackn01> tonymac? the same tonymac who did the hackintosh ? and boot loader ???
<DC-IRC> <Tonymac32> No no no
<DC-IRC> <Tonymac32> No relation 😆
<DC-IRC> <jackn01> aah...
<DC-IRC> <Tonymac32> I haven't touched a Mac since they were clear with nightly colored panels
<DC-IRC> <Tonymac32> Brightly*
<DC-IRC> <jackn01> i tryed both ssh and directly
<DC-IRC> <Tonymac32> root 1234 is the default, is it an image directly from Armbian
<DC-IRC> <jackn01> yes, well its in the unsupported images
<DC-IRC> <jackn01> the "Other supported variants" sction
<DC-IRC> <jackn01> (i was talking about https://www.tonymacx86.com)
<DC-IRC> <jackn01> i ask in general
<DC-IRC> <jackn01> do the cli images have the video drivers installed ?
<DC-IRC> <jackn01> is it possible that i disabled the ssh changing the gpu clock in the config ?
