<noobaroo> Can someone help me convert a VR180 video to normal? I need to be babied here with info
<noobaroo> There appears to be 2, almost identical pictures side-by-side and the title of the video contains "VR180" I have tried different lenscorrection, fisheye, dfisheye, equirect, and equisolid filters, with and without cropping it in half
<noobaroo> The closest I have gotten is by cropping half of it, and using lenscorrection filter, but the output appears vertically cropped even though I only cropped it horizontally, and I also don't know how well it really fixes the image because the guy's arm is still curved (although maybe less?)
<noobaroo> But the other filters basically didn't even come close to an improvement

<Netham45> I'm playing to a PCM sink that wants frames to arrive roughly real-time (it has a buffer size of like 4kb), is there a way to get ffmpeg to output PCM at a constant rate? I'm getting ~80-100ms jitters during playback.
<Netham45> My command, using some random test URL I found online as an input: "ffmpeg -hide_banner -i https://www2.cs.uic.edu/~i101/SoundFiles/ImperialMarch60.wav -af arealtime -chunk_size 1152 -avioflags direct -packetsize 1152 -f s32le -ac 2 -ar 48000 -blocksize 1152 -flush_packets 1 pipe:17"

<Netham45> hah, nevermind, I did set queue sizes so it'd get delayed from my destination back to the source, and my destination will only accept at line speed.
<Netham45> hmm, still a little jittery

<flyingtoaster> Hi everyone. That was a pain to figure out. It looks like all users using kiwiirc have been banned from the channel.

<flyingtoaster> Anyways, I was wondering if anyone had seen issues with mkv files. I have integrated FFmpeg 6.0.0 into our application, and it works really well for pretty much every file. A user recently sent me a mkv file that was produced by some screen recording software. Very infrequently, when I seek to say frame 70 from frame 1, it will start decoding the
<flyingtoaster> frames until around frame 10, and then av_read_frame will start returning "Operation not permitted". Digging down the stack, it seems like matroska->queue.head in matroska_deliver_packet() is null. This is very curious because most of the time it isn't.

<flyingtoaster> Just an addition to the above issue, av_read_frame will read a few frames and then return -9, which av_make_error_string identifies as "Bad file descriptor".
<flyingtoaster> Is there any function other than avformat_close_input that can close the input?
