<DC-IRC> [Discord] <.stokastic> Hi all, I'm a bit of an idiot an while I've been regularly installing upgrades on my rock64 based armbian box... I never did a dist-upgrade and I'm still on buster, and now I can't dist upgrade because I can't update because it looks like buster apt isn't in the mirrors anymore 😦 -- any way out of this mess other than reinstall from scratch?
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <.stokastic> Like is there some historical repo I can upgrade from first and then from there to a modern release?
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <.stokastic> Or maybe disable the armbian apt and do a Debian upgrade first? Seems like that could break things
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <igorpec> this later, disable, upgrade, change armbian to bookworm and then upgrade
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <.stokastic> ok thanks, will give it a shot
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <.stokastic> "change armbian to bookworm" - by using apt-get with the bookwork armbian? Or using my existing armbian-config from my current install?
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <.stokastic> (I would assume upgrade it first and then use it)

<DC-IRC> [Discord] <shtripok> there are FORCE_USE_RAMDISK and USE_TMPFS. looks like for the same.
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <shtripok> maybe there https://github.com/armbian/build/blob/093955e7886139e968dc54737a8e0493f2e84c15/lib/functions/rootfs/trap-rootfs.sh#L32 instead of "${FORCE_USE_RAMDISK} == no" should be "$USE_TMPFS==yes"
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <shtripok> quote from my build log:
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <shtripok> Using tmpfs for rootfs build [ RAM available: 1676MiB > 5000MiB estimated ]
<DC-IRC> [Discord] <shtripok> 1676 greater than 5000? seriously?

<DC-IRC> [Discord] <shtripok> true. because FORCE_USE_RAMDISK=yes. but log send me to the wrong direction/
