<Flea86> pie_: PLCs typically are powered from a nearby 24V DC supply in the same control cabinet. POE is Ok for remote I/O I guess, but at some point you have to pay the piper :)
<Flea86> For _small_ PLC applications where you know your power budget to fall with in desireable limits, I guess you could get away with POE...
