I'm compiling nextpnr direct from GitHub with Nix. I'm using both nextpnr-gowin and nextpnr-himbaechel. I'm getting `No Fmax available; no interior timing paths found in design.`. If I use the latest on Nixpkgs. It's able to detect it.
<Myrl-saki>
I just realized that "direct from GitHub" makes no sense lol. It's Apycula which is on PyPi.
<gatecat>
I think something has broken in the new timing code for these arches. I don't think Rowan is here, but I'll ping him
<Myrl-saki>
If I'm using a GitHub release, it provides me the timing. If I'm using a recent master revision, it doesn't.
<Myrl-saki>
And aaaah, yes, I see in the Git history now.
<gatecat>
actually, I don't think himbaechel-gowin has timing at all yet so that's a seperate issue. but there is indeed a genuine regression in regular nextpnr-gowin
<Myrl-saki>
Ah, I also see changes since. :) I'll compile it first.
<Myrl-saki>
In case it's been fixed.
<Myrl-saki>
Hm yeah, latest doesn't seem to fix it.
<gatecat>
thanks for checking anyway
<gatecat>
rowan is going to look into it
