cabazon26: the word "yocto" means 10^-24, it is a SI prefix just like kilo, milli, micro, nano. I don't know why the Yocto project adopted it for its name...

<nayfe>
Hello,
<nayfe>
i'm confused about a behaviour change in C++ code between kirkstone and scarthgap.
<nayfe>
I develop some code that uses a timer (timer_create) with SIGEV_SIGNAL notify and SIGRTMIN signal
<nayfe>
and also threads that call send/recv/select stuff.
<nayfe>
In scarthgap, the latest calls are interrupted by SIGINT (probably triggered by timer, when I disable it, there is no more interruption) whereas it's not the case in kirkstone
<nayfe>
Do you know what could be the reason? kernel/libc/gcc change?
<nayfe>
Thanks by advance ^^

Hello! I added pulseaudio to my image. It seems to work, but in the system logs I read that the DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS variable is missing. I guess it means I should run a session dbus daemon and set the DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS variable so that every process inherits it. Is this correct? What could be a good way to do it in my Yocto image?
<luc4>
nayfe: "in the rootfs generation"? Doesn't that mean "while building the image"? I see the log while running the image.
<nayfe>
what i mean is that it's maybe the same kind of stuff, as you say, if pulseaudio works but generates an error log, maybe just ignore it? :p

<luc4>
nayfe: not sure. I do not quite understand how it can work without a dbus daemon running...
