when you run a bitbuild for a real hardware rather than the emulations, I guess you can not use the emulator, right?
<tp43_>
I did a bitbuild rpi-test-image for the raspberrypi bsp layer from the official layers index. I have to flash to hardware to try it out right, I can not use the emulator right/

See this here: IMAGE_INSTALL += "openssh openssl openssh-sftp-server", is there a list of apps to choose from?

When it comes to raspberry pi, you can pretty much do anything you can do on a desktop so Yocto's benefits are mostly nil, eh?
<tp43_>
It is only when you have these system's on a chip you have then you need Yocto.

<JPEW>
tp43_: it depends. We use rpi as a testbed when actual hardware is limited, not ready, etc
<tp43_>

What is in the SDK's. Yocto outputs a Linux system and an SDK. The sdk is basically just gcc/build-essential?

Anybody using SierraWireless? I could swear their website is written in english but then... take a look, tell me what is the language of the following excerpt: Leaf Workflows: Leaf supports working with different remotes or streams of packages. Not all versions of Legato are used by Products to produce an officially supported version of a Legato Platform. To help determine what version of a package you should be using when we use the
<tp43_>
concept of streams.
<tp43_>
Do I know how to read I am wondering? Or am I reading english?
