<kwizart> digetx, back on the CONFIG_FB question, seems like CONFIG_DRM_FBDEV_EMULATION is the FB emulation on top of KMS (that depends on CONFIG_FB_CORE, not CONFIG_FB), can you confirm ?
<kwizart> so it should be possible to have CONFIG_FB disabled (actually, it's on top of one particular tree: https://github.com/martinezjavier/linux/commits/fbdev-split )
<kwizart> so it might be worth to enable CONFIG_DRM_FBDEV_EMULATION instead of CONFIG_FB instead
<kwizart> digetx, yes currently. But there is a plan to move that to CONFIG_FB_CORE instead (see the tree from javier, he plans to publish a first RFC)
<digetx> okay, I didn't understand the question before
<digetx> perhaps FB_CORE should be selected by DRM_FBDEV_EMULATION and not to depend on it
<digetx> and CONFIG_FB should select CONFIG_FB_CORE
<digetx> then FB_CORE should be made as internal kconfig option, i.e. not exposed in menuconfig

<oldgalileo> Howdy!
<oldgalileo> In the t210ref/cfg/ flash configs (take gnu_linux_tegraboot_emmc.xml for example) there are two sdmmc device nodes in the XML
<oldgalileo> They're both defined as: `<device type="sdmmc" instance="3">`
<oldgalileo> Is there a reason that everything up to the GP1 partition is separated?
<oldgalileo> lol in classic fashion: https://docs.nvidia.com/jetson/l4t/#page/Tegra%20Linux%20Driver%20Package%20Development%20Guide/part_config.html#wwp100432
<oldgalileo> The value I see isn't even one of the options. But I think it broke it down fairly.
