azonenberg: re germany travels: our (darthrake, nfbraun, myself) lab is located in cologne if you'd like to visit. just got an SNA5000 and might have a librecal by next week. otherwise if there's some kind of meetup in the dus/bochum area we'd probably also attend

They offered to pick me up from the Cologne train station if I wanted to visit their place

So one possible option is to take a train from the airport to Cologne (arriving noonish Monday), have the Aaronia folks grab me from there, visit their office, then they drop me off in Cologne and I hang with you the rest of Monday before catching the train to my hotel in Bochum

and then Katharina (who wrote the preferences system in glscopeclient then kinda dropped off contributing to the project) indicated possible interest in a meetup but hasnt responded to any of my messages since then. the only contact info i still have for her is twitter

we managed to get the order out before cny and got the boards last week but haven't yet assembled them

bvernoux: we also debated changing some things but since that would have meant missing the CNY window and the bom is not /that/ expensive, we just decided to go ahead with the original design and maybe do a rev2 later if need be.

i don't really trust jlcpcb to hit a given impedance precisely anyway for various reasons, but that doesn't really matter for a cal standard as long as it isn't too far off
