depends entirely on how the manufacturer is handling things with flex. I worked at a flex place for a bit. Even if you are a volume customer it depends on the inspection team and how efficient their procedures are. I assume your flex is 2 layer as long as it doesn't have micro vias on it, it shouldn't take too long.

the challenge becomes how shipping at the place is organized. That often ends up being the bottle neck.

they move less volume on flex so that might have been part of it
